My Nonna
Seriously, every day that goes by I am getting more and more excited about the Wedding Day! During such a happy time for me, it's hard not to think of those that have passed and just wish they we here to celebrate us. The one person I think of the most is my Nonna. Even though she passed away when I was barely a teenager, her memory is still very fresh in my mind. It would've been great having her with me when I tried on my dress or picked out my veil or watch me as I walk down the aisle. I think of how she would've loved Mike, even though he doesn't speak italian (hehehehehe). But I know she's watching over me and smiling, and hopefully her and my Grandpa (by far the cutest man in heaven) will be there in spirit on my wedding day dancing the Tarantella and eating the food.

Delaware and the $3.00 Bagel
The wedding plans are going fine. Besides some hair and bridesmaid trouble (you know, the usual), we are moving along. Forget the wedding for one quick second and let's dive into the carbolicious world of the modern day bagel. The bagel makes for a filling and satisfying breakfast or if you are low on cash, a satisfying lunch or dinner. The average price for a NY bagel and everywhere else on the planet is about 75 cents and you can safely assume that an additonal topping on your morning delight can range from 25 cents to $2.00 (lox). Ok, that being said, I walked into yet another (I had gone down this road before) bagel store in Delaware- aka, the Home of Tax Free Shopping, Small Wonder, the Pebble in America's Shoe, oh wait that's New Jersey- and they charged me $3.00 for a bagel!! I held back my vomit long enough to ask the girl "Why is it so much?" and she replied, "It's a dollar for the bagel and two dollars for the cream cheese." At which point, I turned around and walked out. I decided it would be cheaper for me to buy a gallon of cream cheese and bake the bagel myself. Are they serious? There better be some gold or gasoline in that cream cheese. F-ing people and their bagels. Huh, I'm exhausted and hungry.
I am really going to start writing everyday now. SO will Mike, because he loves me.
